VISION/HEARING SCREENING

Board Policy 

            Early detection of hearing and vision problems is essential so that children may obtain maximum benefit from their educational opportunities.  The goal of the Garrett County vision and hearing program is the identification of children who may not have normal hearing and/or vision.  Therefore, the Garrett County Board of Education has established and maintains a hearing and vision screening program in accordance with COMAR 13A.05.05.07-3A.
